On-Field Volunteers are adults whose volunteer duties have direct interaction with players, which includes Managers (Head Coach), Coaches, Practice Helpers, and Umpires.
To complete the application process and receive a Volunteer ID Badge, please follow these steps (or follow the more detailed step-by-step list here):
1. Apply to volunteer though Alderwood's Sports Connect registration system. Login to your account by selecting "Member Login", then select "Register Now" and choose the appropriate group
2. NEW! IN ACCORDANCE WITH WASHINGTON LAW, ALL ON FIELD VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE AN ON-LINE TRAINING ON SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST AND SUBMIT THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION TO THE LEAGUE. The training can be found here.
3. Review the Concussion Information and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness information and submit a signed acknowledgement form.
4. Complete a Returning Volunteer Form (if you were issued a Volunteer ID Badge in 2018) or New Volunteer Form and submit in person at a registration event or email to [email protected].
5. Provide copy of your driver's license (unless you submitted a copy as part of your player's address documentation) to [email protected].
6. Submit a photo for the ID Badge. New volunteers should send a head shot to [email protected]. Returning volunteers should have one on file.
We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible, to allow to adequate time to process the application and print the ID Badge. Applications received after March 31, 2022, will be processed on a case-by-case basis only.
